Prince Electors

Term used to describe the seven positions responsible for electing the Holy Roman Emperor upon the death of the previous emperor. They are considered to be the most powerful of the member states of the Holy Roman Empire.

They are split between Ecclesiatical and Seculer princes.

The Electors are The Archbishopric of Mainz, the Archbishopric of Cologne, the Archbishopric of Trier, the Dukedom of Saxony, the Margraviate of Brandenburg, the Kingdom of Bohemia, and the Palatinate of the Rhine.
