Kilkenny

A small town in the South-East of Ireland. One of the traditional strongpoints of English rule despite its location outside of the Pale. Famous for the Statutes of Kilkenny, laws that attempted to limit the extent of English settlers taking up Irish customs. The Statutes were a failure but have marked Kilkenny as an anglicised town ever since.

Loyal to the English crown in the wars currently engulfing the island, Kilkenny is a target for the forces of Patrick Fanning.
