Eriu

One of the three great fey sisters of Ireland along with Banba and Fodhla.

Eriu can claim credit for the name of the island, a twisted version of its anglicised form. She is the most militant of her sisters. She appears in the form of an celtic warrior queen of old, complete with chariot and flowing red hair. Her power lies in her words which have the abilty to control and bend people to her will.

In order to achive her ends, Eriu freqently imbues a chosen mortal with some of her power. Currently her champion is Patrick Fanning, a former farmer turned rebel. She appears at his side occasionally though she will only ever speak with him in private.
